Terms of use
The short version, because a long one nobody reads protects nobody.
Using the apps
You may use Outworld Apps's apps and the services behind them for their intended purpose. You may not attempt to reach another player's data, submit scores that were not achieved by playing, or use the API in a way that degrades it for other people.
Leaderboards
A standing may be hidden or removed if we conclude it was not achieved by playing. A player may be suspended for the same reason, in which case their standings stop being ranked but are not destroyed — a decision that erases its own evidence cannot be reviewed, and cannot be reversed.
Display names
You choose your display name and it is shown to other players. Invisible and direction-altering characters are removed automatically, because they are used to make one name render as another's. A name may be reset if it is used to impersonate or abuse.
Availability
These are small apps run by a small operation. The services behind them are offered as they are, with no uptime guarantee. Every app that stores anything here is built to work without it: losing the backend costs you the leaderboard, not the game.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that affects what you can do or what we keep, the change will be described in the app rather than quietly replacing this page.
